The multilingual period drama Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. Om Raut’s film Adipurush also stars Saif Ali Khan, who will play the role of Ravana. As Prabhas and Kriti play Ram-Sita’s eternal jodi, Sunny will be seen as the conscientious Lakshman.

In the photos, the actors look tired after a busy dance schedule. Southern superstar Prabhas, sitting in the backseat, looked cool as he enjoyed the cheers around him. On the other hand, Kriti, lovely in a red t-shirt, was busy on her phone. The ever-smiling Sunny Singh, as he sat in the front seat, waved to the photographers as they clicked him.

According to reports, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon have already resumed filming the film’s latest program in Mumbai. Speaking about his cast, director Om Raut said earlier that Prabhas and Saif had “undergone a remarkable physical transformation” for the film.

“There is a lot of work going on. Saif and Prabhas have undergone a remarkable physical transformation and massive action is involved as well. There are a lot of physical transformations that Prabhas went through from an artist’s perspective and he continues to work on it even now as we shoot. With Saif Ali Khan, it’s evident in the photos, but I can’t reveal much, ”Raut told The Times of India.

The highly anticipated period drama, funded by Bhushan Kumar’s T series, premiered in February. Adipurush is shot in Hindi and Telugu, and will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film is scheduled for release on August 11, 2022.
