Kartik Aaryan reached out to fans on Thursday, with the aim of helping a friend during the Covid-19 period. He tweeted asking for help organizing an ambulance in Prayagraj. “A friend is in urgent need of an ambulance in Prayagraj… help with contacts please,” he wrote on Twitter.

This was Kartik’s first tweet after leaving Dostana 2. He then thanked everyone for contacting him. “Thanks for all the help,” he wrote.

Kartik on Friday also urged people to wear their masks and stay safe. The actor took to his social media accounts to share a black photo with his mask on.

Kartik’s return to social media delighted his fans. While many helped him organize the ambulance, others, including celebrities, quickly welcomed him to micro-blogging sites. Singer Jonita Gandhi commented on her photo on Instagram: “With all the feelings of a superhero.”

One fan posted: “Finally you posted.” Another added, “I was literally thinking and wondering how you are and stuff and you posted omg I’m so happy (sic).”

Kartik found itself in the midst of a controversy when last week it was reported that he is left Dostana 2 due to “creative differences” after filming for almost two weeks.

Karan Johar’s upcoming film, Dostana 2, co-stars Janhvi Kapoor and Laksh Lalwani. Kartik and Janhvi had started shooting the film in Amritsar in November 2019. Filming was interrupted in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Dharma Productions then released a statement informing fans that they will be recasting their highly anticipated film, directed by Collin D’Cunha. “Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence, we are going to recast Dostana 2, directed by Collin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon, ”read the statement from Dharma Productions.

Kartik, who recently contracted Covid-19, tested negative at the beginning of this month. He quickly revealed that he had bought a chic Lamborghini Urus SUV, worth Rs 4.5 crore.
