Alia Bhatt confirms she has tested positive for COVID-19, Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima sends her love
Alia Bhatt has tested positive for COVID-19. Gangubai Kathiawadi took to Instagram stories to share her diagnosis late Thursday night. She wrote: ‘Hello everyone, I tested positive for Covid-19. I immediately isolated myself and will be in home quarantine. I follow all safety protocols under the guidance of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care of yourself.
Last month in March, Alia’s boyfriend and Brahmastra co-star Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for the coronavirus. He has now tested negative for the virus and has made a full recovery.
Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, shared a return photo with her and Alia with Neetu Kapoor and Shaheen Bhatt on Friday. The photo appears to be from their Christmas celebrations. Riddhima only wrote “backtrack” with the photo.
Even Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who runs Alia at Gangubai Kathiawadi, tested positive for COVID-19 last month and started work on the film after recovery a few weeks ago.
On the job side, Alia has a pretty impressive lineup of films, her film with SLB – Gangubai Kathiawadi is due out on July 30, she also has RRR from SS Rajamouli with also Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Ajay Devgn who is expected to come. in theaters at Diwali this year.
Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, is also in the works. Reports suggest she will be making a romantic film starring Ranveer Singh, which will be directed by Karan Johar and is slated for release after the summer. An official confirmation of the project is still due.
