As Akshay Kumar is hospitalized, Ram Setu co-stars Nushrratt Bharruchha and Jacqueline Fernandez keep in touch: ‘Together in the spirit’


After Akshay Kumar tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, followed by 45 Ram Setu crew members in Mumbai who tested positive for the virus on Monday as well, the cast and co-stars of Akshay Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez isolated themselves at their respective homes in the city as a precaution.

Nushrratt took to his Instagram Stories to provide insight into how the three actors “check each other out!” by sharing a screenshot of how they connected in a conference call. she also wrote that although they are far apart, they are together in spirit. Akshay confirmed on Monday that he had been hospitalized as a “precautionary measure”.

Akshay, Nushrratt and Jacqueline started touring for Abhishek Sharma’s Ram Setu in Mumbai last week. The three actors also shared their respective looks on Instagram.

A source close to Nushrratt revealed: “Just when Nushrratt learned that Akshay Kumar had tested positive, she immediately isolated herself. She takes all precautionary measures, as the doctors advised her, to keep better health for the resumption of filming.

While Nushrratt is quarantined at her home, she is already taking care of herself to stay healthy. In another Instagram story, she shares a boomerang video where she does steam inhalation. She wrote: “Insulation✅ Steam Inhalation✅ Precautions✅ Stay Safe🙏🏻”.

Along with Ram Setu, due out next year, Nushrratt will also be seen in Chhorri, Hurdang, Janhit Mein Jaari and Ajeeb Daastaans.
