Ava DuVernay showed her face and style during Paris Fashion Week. The filmmaker was spotted leaving a Louis Vuitton dinner party on Monday. DuVernay was decked out in yarn courtesy of the French label. She served up a monochromatic layered look that consisted of an oversized hooded cape. The stylish outerwear is crafted from woolen fabric and completed with the jacquard monogram pattern on the inside and a zipper closure.

Underneath, the “When They See Us” director wore a long, collared shirt and loose-fitting track pants from the luxury fashion house. Both pieces were adorned with the Louis Vuitton jacquard finish all over.

The award-winning producer parted her signature brown locs to the side and opted for soft, neutral makeup. On the shoe side, she closed the deal with the Louis Vuitton Star Trail ankle boots. The iconic model features suede calfskin and patent monogram canvas. The design incorporates sneaker-inspired elements, including engineered mesh on the upper and padded tongue and collar. The bold style is characterized by its high block heel and rubber lug outsole.

Before heading out to dinner, DuVernay joined some of Hollywood’s best at Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week Fall 2022 show. She sat in the front row in a flowing white long-sleeved jumpsuit. She teamed the one-piece garment with a pointed black vest, square frames and a black handbag. She had on her feet a pair of leather boots. The sleek silhouette was adorned with silver studs.
