Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds wedding photos released
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fiancee Carrie Symonds tied the knot in a private and intimate ceremony in London on Saturday May 29. This has been confirmed by his Downing Street office and now photos of the event have been shared. We see ravishing Carrie Symonds in a white dress with lace details.
Even though there was no veil, she completed the look with flowers adorning her hair. The Prime Minister, on the other hand, was seen in a black suit with a flower tucked away on the lapel. According to Evening standard, the couple exchanged vows in Westminster Cathedral. A small group of family and friends attended.
“The Prime Minister and Mrs Symonds got married yesterday afternoon in a small ceremony at Westminster Cathedral. The couple will celebrate their wedding with family and friends next summer, ”a Downing Street spokesperson said in the report.
The celebrations for family and friends are scheduled for July 30, 2022, ES reports. Symonds, 33, is an conservationist. In February, the two announced their engagement.
This is Johnson’s third marriage. He was married to Allegra Mostyn-Owen (from 1987 to 1993), then to Marina Wheeler. Although their divorce was finalized in May 2020, they had announced their separation in 2018. British author Marina Wheeler is of Indian descent and her latest book was placed in the context of Partition in 1947.
