Coi Leray put a bold spin on a preppy-chic ensemble for Alexander Wang’s “Fortune City” Pre-Fall and Fall 2022 runway show in Los Angeles’ Chinatown on Tuesday night. The ‘No More Parties’ hitmaker transformed a shimmering blue silk pajama skirt into a shirt dress.

The cropped number was streamlined with sequins and featured a structured collar, plunging V-neckline and risque side slits. To amp up the glam factor, the chart-topping musician jazzed up her look with earrings, a diamond choker, chunky rings and anklets.

In true fashion form, she included more statement accessories – a diamond-encrusted teddy bear and a layered chain belt that was clipped to the side of her underwear. Leray swapped her usual knotless tresses for two high ponytails and rounded things off with neutral makeup and a glossy pout.

To elevate the moment even further, the “Blick, Blick” artist donned a pair of black rhinestone sandals. The silhouette had a wide sequin strap on the toe, an ankle strap for extra support and a pointed stiletto heel.

Leray has a futuristic, fashion-forward sartorial aesthetic that emphasizes color and structure. She favors key pieces from luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Balmain and Gucci. For footwear, she will likely opt for strappy sandals and platform sneakers, combats and boots.
