If that’s one thing Dua Lipa can do, it’s find a new way to wear black in style. The “Break My Heart” singer was spotted wearing head-to-toe black as she left her apartment in New York on Friday.
For the stylish outfit, Lipa opted for a black blazer that doubled as a corset. The garment had a column of ties in the middle and featured a plunging neckline. The bodice of the corset was constructed as if the piece had been constructed from the blazer, with a wrap-around collar. It also allowed for two side cutouts. On the lower half, she went with a pair of black baggy pants that covered most of her shoes and had a rolled design for an extra touch of elegance.

Lipa went with some eye-catching accessories for this ensemble. First, she wore the Balenciaga La Cagole Small Shoulder Bag in Black which incorporated silver eyelets all over the handle and silver zippers. On her head, she donned a hat that doubled as a bandana and also had a fun splashy print on the front. As for jewelry, she wore a few gold and silver rings as well as silver earrings.

To top it all off, Lipa donned black lug-soled shoes that had chunky silver pieces and smooth black leather uppers.

Lipa has a futuristic and trendy clothing aesthetic which she displays in streetwear photos and on stage. For example, for her “Future Nostalgia” tour, Lipa got a custom-made black crystal-embellished Mugler catsuit for a bold costume look. And we also saw her rock an oversized trench coat, baggy cargo pants and Balenciaga x Vibram toe boots for a chic snowstorm outfit.
The “Don’t Start Now” singer made a name for herself in the fashion industry, making her runway debut at a show for Italian luxury brand Versace.
