Emily Ratajkowski celebrated her new campaign for the Michael Kors x Ellesse collaboration on Thursday in New York. The launch party included attendees like Jay Critch, Amelia Gray Hamlin and Tayshia Adams.
Earlier today, Michael Kors also hosted an exclusive shopping experience with the model at the Michael Kors Rockefeller Center store. At the party, EmRata wore an orange sequined strapless dress. She paired the retro-inspired dress with white heeled mules.
the The American luxury fashion brand and the Italian sportswear brand have collaborated on a new line of sportswear inspired by the 70s. The campaign is led by Ratajkowski, Brooklyn-based rap musician Jay Critch as well as other musicians, models and multi-hyphenates. The campaign, which took place in Miami, was photographed by fashion photographer Lachlan Bailey and styled by Interview magazine editor Mel Ottenberg. the the objective was to capture a celebration of the cool, confident, optimistic and energetic DNA of the Michael Kors and Ellesse brands.
The 24-piece capsule includes fun patterns on bold track jackets and pants, vintage-style swimsuits, chunky sneakers, logo sliders and neon bucket hats. The Hudson backpack and the Bradshaw shoulder bag from Michael Kors will also be included in this collection.
Customers will see a wavy pattern with the Ellesse x Michael Kors emblem on bags and accessories from the lifestyle collection. The pieces will combine Kors’ logo with Ellesse’s tennis and ski-inspired style, and they will also combine ELlesse’s signature color palette is comprised of bright orange and red hues with classic undertones of navy blue and pure white.
The new line is available now and sold at select Michael Kors and e-commerce stores as well as via the Ellesse e-commerce site. EThe collection will also come to life in a series of pop-up installations and activations around the world.
