It’s a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that perfect summer.
It doesn’t seem to stray too far from its source material, but we’ll have to wait until the show starts to see how accurate it is on the page.

Newcomer Lola Tung, a student at Carnegie Mellon, stars as Belly.
Jackie Chung (Post 19) plays Belly’s mother, Laurel, a novelist who divorced a year ago.
