James Harden made some improvements to this $ 70,000 watch
welcome to Watches of the week, where we’ll follow the rarest, craziest and most coveted watches spotted on celebrities.
Richard Mille manufactures the most modern and exciting sports watches in the industry. The brand’s watches do not follow any of the rules followed by their round stainless steel counterparts – RM makes sports watches for sporting competition in the distant future, which likely involves jet packs. Fittingly, athletes like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Odell Beckham, Jr., Paul Pogba, Bubba Watson and Rafael Nadal all flock to the brand, many wearing their respective watches during the competition. Former NBA MVP James Harden is also a fan. While not wearing theirs on hardwood, the Brooklyn Net is legendary for taking their off-court activities as seriously as their on-court activities. Partying with Harden could be an event at the next Olympics, so let’s assume this watch gets put to the test.
Richard Mille RM-30 by James Harden
Harden is like Richard Mille’s Santa Claus: he has a famous beard, gives many gifts and sends objects, including already $ 70,000, to his workshop to make them. It is clearly not the same RM-30 that left the factory. Harden replaced the standard bracelet with a pearl white bracelet and also flooded the watch case with a foil of diamonds. That’s why they call Harden the ultimate floor enhancer.
Alexandra Daddario’s Rolex Cosmograph Daytona
Freshly Released Featured The white lotus, the biggest show of the summer, Daddario was seen wearing a Rolex Daytona worthy of the Pineapple Suite. This watch is white gold and uses diamonds to count the hours – the only thing it doesn’t have is a private plunge pool. The Daytona continues to be one of, if not the, the hottest watch in the world thanks to models like this. The roots of the Daytona are in sports, but that doesn’t mean it can’t easily pull out white gold and diamonds.
Dennis Rodman’s G-Shock GRB200-1A
There is no better brand of watches for Dennis Rodman than G-Shock. Both the man and the watch are sturdy and look great in black and red. Worm’s G-Shock is nicknamed the GRAVITYMASTER, which obviously sounds good. But there is a meaning behind the funny name: the watch is designed for use in flight and is equipped with a compass, barometer, and tools for measuring altitude and temperature. Perfect if you are flying through the air this way; come back this way; or click here or here.
Patek Philipe Nautilus by Swae Lee
Are you as surprised as I am to see Swae Lee on the red carpet for the upcoming Marvel movie Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings? His involvement is limited to a song he composed for the film, so unfortunately we won’t see him channel the power of the rings. But who needs rings when you have a watch like this? Lee’s Patek is set to star in a sequel called Nautilus and the legend of the thousand diamonds.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak by Kemba Walker
Walker’s tenure with his New York Knicks is off to a good start. During his introductory press conference with the team, Walker wore the ever popular Royal Oak. Walker’s is set with 40 diamonds on the bezel and even the indexes are in white gold. I have a soft spot for white-dialed Royal Oaks, like those from Walker: the white allows you to really appreciate AP’s signature Grande Tapisserie motif, those rows of repeated squares on the dial. Someone is hanging another banner in the garden.
