Katrina Kaif tested positive for COVID-19, in home quarantine
Bollywood star Katrina Kaif said on Tuesday she had tested positive for the coronavirus and was currently in isolation at home. The actor, through an Instagram story, informed her fans about her diagnosis of COVID-19 and also asked people, who have come in contact with her in recent days, to get tested.
“I tested positive for Covid-19. I immediately isolated myself and will be in home quarantine. I follow all safety protocols under the guidance of my doctors. Ask anyone who has come in contact with me to get tested immediately. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care of yourself, ”Katrina wrote.
Katrina’s diagnosis came a day after the actor-rumored handsome Vicky Kaushal said he tested positive for coronavirus. Besides Vicky, her co-star Mr. Lele Bhumi Pednekar also contracted the virus. Both actors took to the handles on respective social media to let fans know about their health.
“Despite all the care and precautions, I unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19. By following all the essential protocols, I am in quarantine at home and I take the drugs prescribed by my doctor. I ask everyone who has come in contact with me to get tested immediately. Be careful and stay safe, ”Vicky wrote in an Instagram post.
On the job front, Katrina Kaif shot for Excel Entertainment’s Phone Bhoot earlier this year. The horror comedy also stars Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Katrina is set to film the third installment of the blockbuster Tiger franchise in the future. Starring superstar Salman Khan, the YRF-backed film will be directed by Maneesh Sharma.
