Mallika Dua writes heartbreaking note after the death of her mother Padmavati Dua: “I was born of God”
Comedian-actor Mallika Dua took to his social media account to share the news of the passing of his mother, Padmavati Dua, also known as Chinna Dua.
Chinna Dua breathed her last on Friday night after fighting a long battle against Covid-19.
Mallika Dua shared a heartbreaking note as she published her mother’s untimely death: “I was born of God and she chose me to be her child. This is how incredibly lucky I am. It hurts way too much right now, but my good friends who have the same grief tell me it’s getting better. Thank you mom for choosing to be my mom. You are my God. Thanks my mom.
His caption with this note read, “The love of my life. My first and greatest love. Thank you for choosing me.”
Celebrities have paid tribute to Chinna Dua. Mira Kapoor posted in the comments section of Mallika Dua’s post, “It sounds like a personal loss. I will fondly remember Chinna Ji.” She added, “I send you love, strength and prayers.” Mini Mathur wrote: “I am so sorry for your colossal loss, Mallika. I wish you all the strength to endure this mourning. And moms never really leave their kids… I hope you know that.

Padmavati Dua was a well-known radiologist and wife of journalist Vinod Dua. She and her husband were both admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon on May 14 after testing positive for the deadly virus.
