Mandira Bedi’s husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal, has died


Actress Mandira Bedi’s husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal, has passed away. Filmmaker Onir confirmed the news on social media and wrote, “Gone too early. We lost director and producer @ rajkaushal1 this morning. Very sad. He was one of the producers of my first movie #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.

Actor Rohit Roy told “Raj passed away this morning, around 4.30am he had a heart attack. He was at home by the time the family was able to get medical help. , Raj was gone.

Rohit later issued an emotional note bidding farewell to Raj Kaushal. “And just like that, he left, even without saying goodbye.” Too numb with grief and shock to react. It’s not fair, just not fair, “he wrote.


“Raj, my friend, my brother, continue to spread joy wherever your next home is. Knowing your penchant for good homes, I am sure you are looking for a good place in paradise NOW! We all loved you very much and you know it. Sadly we kept saying next week next week and this week never happened. See you on the other side my brother. Until we relive hell, REST IN PEACE, ”he concluded.

Actress Divya Dutta also tweeted and expressed her disbelief. “What! OMG! No! Gone too soon Raj! She expressed. Tisca Chopra called the unfortunate event ‘shocking’.

“My heart goes out to @mandybedi and her two adorable children. #RIP our happy smiling Raj .. your sweet soul will be missed,” Tisca’s tweet read.

He is survived by his wife Mandira and his son Veer and his daughter Tara.

TV and movie personality Roshan Abbas wrote: “I heard the terrible news of
@ rajkaushal1. May your pot of hope always be filled in the Hereafter as it was here. I will miss you terribly. Strength to family and friends.

The writer-director-producer has directed three films during his career: Pyaar Mein Kabhie Kabhie, Shaadi Ka Ladoo and Anthony Kaun Hai. He started his career as a copywriter. In cinema, he began by assisting Mukul Anand, including Trimurti by Subhash Ghai.

He started his own advertising production company in 1998 and has produced over 800 commercials.
