If it’s one thing Mindy Kaling knows how to do, it’s rocking vibrant colors effortlessly. Yesterday, ‘The Mindy Project’ star shared a series of photos on Instagram that showed the multi-hyphenated Hollywood star posing in a flirty and playful ensemble while proclaiming her new pose wasn’t working.

In the photo’s caption, Kaling wrote, “I consider the ‘standing in the corner of my closet’ pose my favorite fashion pose, but I’ve tried a few new poses recently and my conclusion is that the closet pose is better. ”

For the look, Kaling donned a pink sweater dress by Ganni that featured puff sleeves and a v-neckline.

Sophia Webster Phoenix Sandals anchored her outfit. The heels feature hotfix crystal embellished wings, a square toe design, and a heel height of approximately four inches.

A stylish staple during the warmer months, many heeled sandals incorporate a simple strap over the toes and a closure strap around the ankle, creating a barely there construction. The heel of a stiletto sandal is often 4 inches or more, which adds height for a flattering silhouette.

She also recently wore a black chain-print shirt dress by Versace paired with matching gold pumps for an elegant finish.

As for her red carpet appearances, Kaling tends to lean towards beautiful designs from labels like Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana, Rixo and Carolina Herrera.

The ‘The Office’ actress has also ventured into the fashion industry, having starred in campaigns for labels like DSW and Tory Burch.
