Taapsee Pannu at the age of 34: “I have become more rational and I manage life’s problems better”
Taapsee Pannu says he worked on his birthday while filming his home production Vague is a good change. The actor, who has always considered August 1 to be his “personal national holiday”, marked his birthday this year on the set in the presence of sisters Shagun Pannu and Evania Pannu.
Sharing how great her birthday party has been for her all these years, Taapsee told indianexpress.com, “Never in my 10-11 years of working life have I worked on my birthday. year I will. So I think it’s a huge change for someone like me, who just likes to do nothing, and with nothing I mean nothing on my birthday. I just lay on the couch or I move around with friends. Taapsee has launched its own production house Foreign films last month, Blurr being his first film under the banner. The actor is currently filming at Nainital for Blurr which also stars Gulshan Devaiah.
Taapsee has had a busy year with back-to-back work projects despite the lockdown. While his Haseen Dillruba, also starring Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane, was released on Netflix recently, Mithali Raj Shabaash Mithu’s biopic is also in production.
The 34-year-old actor has his kitty full with more movies like Looop Lapeta opposite Tahir Raj Bhasin and Rashmi rocket in front of Priyanshu Painyuli. While Looop Lapeta is an official remake of the German movie Run Lola Run from 1998, Rashmi Rocket is a sports drama where she plays a sprinter.
Taapsee reunites with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap after Manmarziyaan, for Dobaara. The film also stars his Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati. In the middle, Taapsee also signed the Telugu film Mishan impossible be led by Swaroop RSJ.
“I really hope these films come out soon because I’ve been waiting for them for so long. Taapsee also looked back on her senior year and reflected on how things have changed in her. She believes that she has become better at dealing with the ups and downs of her life.
“The change that obviously happened with age is that I kind of got better at dealing with issues and downs. I have become a little more rational in life where I don’t take myself too seriously anymore. It gets better with age, ”she concluded.
