Funky fitness and sportswear brand Tikiboo celebrates today after winning the top honor at the 2018 Running Awards on April 19 at the O2 in London.
Tikiboo was named the best women’s clothing company in the annual awards given only by the running community. In addition, they won the bronze award for best sports bra with the Zebra print bra.
The Running Awards were created to identify and reward the best runners each year. With a truly independent vote, The Running Awards creates the definitive lists that all runners can consult for all their needs.
Paul Corrick, Director of the Running Awards, said:
“Tikiboo was the clothing brand that stood out and rightly deserved to win the award. The team worked hard to get their fans to vote once they were shortlisted and it was clear from the start that Tikiboo is a popular brand among runners. Yes, the designs ensure runners will always be seen, but the quality and fit is second to none. Well done!”
Faye Jobbins, co-founder and CEO of Tikiboo, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to win the Running Awards for (insert awards). Daniel and I have worked hard to build our brand, and we take great pride in making sure we have the best designs and prints, but also fit and comfort. This award is a real recognition from our customers that we have understood well and that they love the brand as much as we do. We can’t wait to see more runners don their Tikiboo!
The British brand was created in 2014 by a husband and wife team Faye and Daniel Jobbins. Tikiboo was born out of Faye’s frustration that she could never find trendy, fun and exciting sportswear that reflects her energy and passion for training. Using her experience as a fitness instructor and her husband’s creative expertise, Tikiboo has quickly developed a legion of dedicated fans who love the brand’s unmatched patterns and colorful designs that ensure the wearer stands out from the crowd.
