Virat Kohli outlines his idea of freedom with Anushka Sharma and Vamika: “We three, and a house in the hills…”
Actor Anouchka Sharma and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, are considered one of India’s most influential couples. Their sweet social media photos and PDAs never fail to bring joy to fans. Recently, Virat sent fans into a flutter as he drew his dream world, which features life in the hills with his wife and daughter Vamika.
During the ongoing IPL, Virat sat down for a fun chat with Mr Nags from their Royal Challengers Bangalore team, aka Danish Sait. The interview was shared by the Virat Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL team on their social media on Wednesday. “The interview of the year! Catch Virat Kohli in a relaxed, honest and fun avatar, even as Mr. Nags (a character created by RCB to interview their players) tries to annoy him like he has over the years,” reads the legend.
During the conversation, at one point, Virat was given a drawing pen and a sheet of paper and asked to draw what his idea of freedom is and what freedom means to him.
With childish enthusiasm, Virat drew hills, a flowing stream, and a cozy little house with three stick figures who appear to be sitting on the edge of the river bed. When asked to explain his design, Virat said, “It’s us… three of us. It’s a house somewhere in the hills, a stream running, yeah.
In the same interview, Virat laughed at his recent performance as the interviewer asked him about his “pet ducks”. He also laughed and clutched his head as the Dane sang a parody version of “Old Macdonald had a farm”. Anushka shared this interview on Instagram and praised her husband for his ability to laugh at himself.
Anushka and Virat, who welcomed Vamika last year, are quite protective parents, and kept her away from any form of media glare. Once, when photos of Vamika went viral during the One Day International series between India and South Africa, the couple released a statement that read, “Hi guys! We realize that the footage of our daughter was captured at the stadium yesterday and shared widely afterwards. We want to let everyone know that we were caught off guard and didn’t know the camera was on us. Our position and our demand on the matter remain the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika images weren’t clicked/posted for the reasons we explained earlier. Thank you!”
On the work side, Anushka is busy with her film Chakda Xpress, a sports drama. This marks his return to acting after more than four years.
