Wes Anderson remains the undefeated king of the corduroy suit

Welcome to the Biggest crises of the week, an overview of the strongest, craziest and quite simply the greatest celebrities from around the world.
Wes anderson
Friday brought the release of Anderson’s long delay The French dispatch. Being a film by Wes Anderson, TFD is almost inconsiderately stylish: clothes aren’t the main thing, but every character dresses pretty much exactly the way you’d like, from the groundbreaking green student of Timothée Chalamet to the funky ’70s food writer of Jeffrey Wright . Of course, no one does it as well as the maestro himself. Wes has settled into a simple uniform of plush corduroy suits, and no one does it better.
William Jackson Harper
Second best thing after corduroy (or maybe just as good, depending on your mood): velor, which is basically corduroy with no ridges.
Richard madden
The Eternals guys have a habit of getting huge and then knowing the right way to dress their beefy bodies.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexandre
A study in crumpled canvas.
Jeffrey wright
A perfect spring costume pulls a double duty in the fall.
Jin ha
Flowers, jewelry, a nice pair of printed heels, it’s the rare case where more is actually more.
Robert pattinson
He’s pretty good at that tracksuit thing.
Stephane Bak
You don’t often see a double-breasted blazer paired with double-knee pants. But now we think you probably should.
Tim burton
The best red carpet accessory is a man’s best friend.
Larry david
I look pretty, pretty, pretty, good.
