Why Sydney Sweeney asked for fewer euphoric nude scenes

Sydney Sweeney opened up about filming nude scenes and says she asked for several releases from Euphoria season 2 (which is streaming right now on HBO Max).
Talk to The Independent (Going through Yahoo!), Sydney explained that she asked Euphoria creator Sam Levinson to remove some of her topless scenes. “There are times when [my character] Cassie was supposed to be shirtless and I was like to Sam, ‘I don’t really think that’s needed here,'” she said. “He was like, ‘OK, we don’t need it.'”
“I never felt like Sam pushed me or tried to fit a nude scene into an HBO show,” she added. “When I didn’t want to do it, he didn’t force me to.”
Sydney also explained that she’s “had experiences where I want to go home and rub myself completely because I feel gross. I didn’t feel comfortable with my teammate or the team, and I didn’t just didn’t feel like my character would.
“I am very proud of my work in Euphoria. I thought that was a great performance. But nobody talks about it because I got naked,” she continued. “I do The White Lotus and all of a sudden the critics are paying attention. People love me. They go, ‘Oh my God, what does she do next?’ I was like, ‘You haven’t seen this in Euphoria? Haven’t you seen this in The Handmaid’s Tale?’ This is something that has bothered me for a while. »
